New design of packaging for office eco-paper EKOOFIS

   The Zhydachiv Pulp and Paper Combine has been operating for over 70 years. The environmental consciousness of its workers, a constant drive for innovation, and the ambition to adopt modern technologies enable the production of new types of cardboard packaging and corrugated products demanded by the market and consumers. This progress extends to the development of entirely new paper products, such as the graphic-purpose paper ECOOFFICE and items made from it.
   Packaging is an essential part of any product. Its appearance and design evoke special emotions and tactile sensations, giving products their purpose and identity.
   Eco-friendly paper and products made by the Zhydachiv Mill feature distinct characteristics: mission-driven design, ecological responsibility, unique coloring, modernity, progressive technologies, and proud Ukrainian origins. These traits are deeply intertwined with the aspirations of artistic renewal and the search for new forms of expression in Ukrainian artistic culture of the 20th century. This innovative movement was pioneered by the School of Monumental Painting led by Mykhailo Boychuk and the Lviv Painting School (O. Novakivsky, O. Kulchytska, I. Trush, and others). One defining feature of Ukrainian modernism was its connection to folk art, which is vividly expressed in the "Boychukism" style. Ukrainian Baroque, as seen in the works of Heorhiy Narbut, also served as a significant source of inspiration for artists of that era.
   The rhythmic repetition of geometric patterns reflects the movement of production machinery, while stylized plant motifs emphasize environmental care. Green symbolizes the ecological nature of the products, orange represents the resilience of the Zhydachiv Combine and its over 70 years of success, and cherry red conveys passion, energy, and the workers’ dedication to their craft. Ukrainian-made products carry a genetic memory, reflected in patterns that subtly evoke traditional embroidery. The blue and yellow of the designs honor the national flag, the official symbol of Ukraine.
   The A5 spiral-bound eco-notebook’s design was created by Oleg Fedunchak, while a series of ornaments for packaging graphic-purpose eco-paper in A4 and A3 formats was developed by Kateryna Karakutsia.
   ECOOFFICE graphic-purpose eco-paper now features a unique cover design that stands out on office shelves and store displays across Ukraine and Europe!
