Eco paper from Zhydachiv Соmbine in fashion industry

Eco-friendly graphic paper, produced by the Zhydachiv Pulp and Paper Соmbine, is widely used in document management for industrial and commercial enterprises across Ukraine and Europe, as well as in stationery for eco-notebooks and note pads. Eco paper is used for writing and printing on office printers, offset machines, and risographs. And now — a new application for eco-friendly graphic paper!
On October 5–6, 2024, during the ART MARKET as part of Ukrainian Design and Innovations Week, the presentation of paper dresses took place — the final part of the experimental project "ZAKVITCHANI".
Inspired by Ukrainian flowers (zinnias, marigolds, sunflowers), artists and designers freely interpreted the vibrant fashion trend of the 1960s "paper dresses," transforming each dress into a work of art. All creative ideas were brought to life through risography (Ukrainian riso studio RISODENCY, Kyiv) on eco-paper from the Zhydachiv Plant. Risograph printing on eco-paper provides a similarity to craft printing, stamping, lithography, or screen printing.
This first step for eco paper into the fashion industry could become a popular trend, encouraging its use by clothing designers as templates for cutting patterns, etc. In fabric stores, eco paper could also be used as a stencil to imitate the silhouette of a dress or other garment when choosing fabric!
The practical use of eco-friendly paper from the Zhydachiv Plant in various fields promotes a broader social trend toward environmental preservation!

    Note:
The Zhydachiv Pulp and Paper Соmbine produces eco-friendly graphic paper according to technical specifications from recycled materials (waste paper) using a chlorine-free multi-stage purification technology. The eco paper undergoes safety testing and receives the State Sanitary and Epidemiological Service’s certification. Eco paper is available in rolls and sheets in A3 and A4 formats, as well as custom formats.
